"o aamaar joto saadh" is very similar to "manzil teri khoj mein" from Pinjre ki Panchhi and the original Bengali classic song by Madhuri Chattopadhaya "gun gun phaagun sesh hole". Although the antara of Ararti's version is a bit different - I still prefer the Madhuri's version anytime. Lata's version "manzil teri khoj mein" is a superb composition and has a brilliant arrangement. Sadly this was deleted in the film and therefore never became popular.
The origin of this melody goes back to the title music of the Bengali film "Ayananta" where Salil first created the melody line of this song. It was a brilliant piece of composition and sadly the film is not available. I was lucky to hear the title music played by a friend on piano who played in the original recording.
