| Song #MD4 (also the Title music) was originally composed for the Bombay Youth Choir
as 'Tu zinda hai to zindagi ki jeet mei.n yakeen kar'(Lyrics: Prem Dhawan). It seems that there are two versions of this song. The second version has different lyrics in the second antara and also it has extra lyrics and melody. Very strange indeed. The Title music version is the one I always had until someone sent me the extended version. Later Salil wrote the Bengali lyrics (Jibon jakhan sudhu dudin) for this song in 1982 during his stay in the USA and also recorded it there. |
