Salil composed some of his most memorable songs in this film.
'O Sajna' remains an all-time classic. 'Mere man ke diye' was an astounding choral
arrangement and even after 30 years one wonders. How did he conceive such arrangement.
So far ahead of his contemporaries. And who else could have sung 'Mila hai kisika
jhumka' but Lata ? And 'Ye bansi kyo.n gaaye' ?
