"aha rimjhim ke pyaare pyyare" is without any doubt one of the most amazing compositions of Salil. The staccato bach-ish violin interlude with complex chord progrssion and the intricate melody line remain unparalleled after nearly 50 years.
"Machalti aarzoo" haunts you forever and the choral arrangement of the old Bombay Youth Choir song "Jaanewaale siphaahi se puchho" was too advanced for its time in 1960.
In fact all the songs in this film, including the Title Music is a feast !
